FAQ’s
What is handmade pottery?
Handmade pottery is crafted one piece at a time using traditional techniques. Unlike mass-produced items, each piece is shaped, glazed, and fired by hand, resulting in subtle variations that make every item one of a kind.
Are your glazes food-safe and lead-free?
Yes. All of our glazes are non-toxic, lead-free, and completely food-safe. Our pottery is safe to use for food and drink.
Are the silicone lids and sleeves on travel cups safe?
Yes. Our silicone lids and sleeves are:
BPA-free
Phthalate-free
FDA-approved
Made from kitchen- and food-grade silicone
They’re designed to be safe, durable, and comfortable for daily use.
Can I use my pottery in the microwave or dishwasher?
Most pieces are microwave- and dishwasher-safe, unless noted otherwise. For best results and longevity, we recommend:
Handwashing
Avoiding sudden temperature changes (e.g., freezer to microwave)
Why doesn’t my pottery look exactly like the photo?
Because each item is handmade, you may notice variations in:
Color
Glaze texture
Shape or size
These are not flaws—they’re part of what makes handmade pottery special and unique.
Is handmade pottery durable?
Yes. Our pottery is built for daily use, but like all ceramics, it can chip or break if dropped or mishandled. With proper care, your pottery can last many years.
